Is the Leadership Training Center (LTC) a Bible school?

LTC is an intensive training course designed to elevate the biblical knowledge of believers at all levels of spiritual experience. Its emphasis is on equipping these leaders and future leaders for immediate productivity in the local church and beyond. While many of courses will be presented in innovative, non-traditional manners, there are certain courses that are directed specifically to ministers and ministerial candidates, and there are other courses that resemble traditional Bible school material. LTC provides many of the same benefits as a traditional Bible school, but without requiring residency.

How does LTC function?

Classes at LTC are conducted from 7:30 – 10:00 CST on Monday evenings. Satellite groups connect to the main LTC classroom via conference phone, and participate in live lectures and discussions. By dedicating a room and conference phone for use by these students, pastors can equip their staff with sound Bible knowledge and leadership training on their own church campus. Or, where no study groups exist, individual students may join the class from the comfort of their own homes.

How much does it cost to enroll in LTC?

Because LTC’s goal is to equip as many leaders as possible, we strive to keep costs low. As a result, students pay no tuition. The only cost to students will be their textbooks and study materials, and they may obtain these from any supplier. Satellite campuses may, at their discretion, assess minimal administrative fees to students. As an alternative and to keep LTC as accessible as possible to as many people as possible, satellite campuses are encouraged to receive love offerings to cover administrative costs. The matter of tuition will be revisited as the program grows, but every attempt will always be made to keep costs at a minimum. Altough no tuition is charged, students are encouraged to contribute toward the operation of LTC as they are able. Contributions of any size are accepted, and students are asked to consider becoming regular $25 monthly supporters. However, at no time will any otherwise-qualified student be denied the opportunity to study even if he or she is unable to be a financial supporter of LTC.

Who are the instructors at LTC?

How often do classes start, and how long is the course?

New classes will begin each quarter. The Advanced Biblical Studies program lasts three years; however, all courses are taught in modular form and new students may enter the program at any quarter.

What will students receive upon graduation?

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a Letter of Graduation in Advanced Biblical Studies.

Is LTC accredited?

LTC is not an academic program and is not currently accredited by any organization.

How many credits will I earn?

The Advanced Biblical Studies program consists of 108 Requirements Units, which are the equivalent at LTC of credits in traditional educational institutions.

Will my credits from LTC transfer to or be recognized by any colleges?

Acceptance of credit is an individual decision made by each college or institution. However, LTC is not a college and makes no claims of transferability of credit. Students planning to use LTC credits for transfer to another institution should first verify transferability of credit with that institution.

What is the minimum age for admission to LTC?

Ideally, students should be at least 16 years of age; exceptions to this rule may be made at the discretion of LTC’s Registrar. However, students must be a minimum of 13 years of age to enroll (15 and under requires pastoral recommendation).
